Make your way back to the Main Hall, where things are relatively safe. Make a circle around the room, collecting the Gunpowder x1 on the copy machine by the Club Door (that you can’t unlock), and a Hand Grenade x1 on the other side of the table where you got the jack handle. You’ll use this in the Library to move the bookshelves. ![]() Examine it in your inventory, and you’ll learn its real name: the Mechanic Jack Handle. Open the door to the Records Room with the Heart Key, and pick up the Tool. Head into the door in the hallway by the vending machines. Open the door slowly, gun drawn, and look right. There’s a Licker waiting for you in the hallway outside. There’s nothing to worry about in the office, but be careful. (You can combine High-Grade Gunpowder and Gunpowder to make Acid Rounds.)Īnd make sure you have the Heart Key with you. Save your game and shuffle your inventory in the Main Hall.Įquip at least a couple rounds for your grenade launcher. Now it’s time to get the second (and final) Power Panel Part in the Clock Tower.Īlong the way, you’ll unlock doors to collect new items, clear out the Records Room, open a Dial Lock that’s been plaguing you for hours and more. If you don’t want to waste ammo, try placing one shot in their head to stun them while you slip past, and do a loop back towards the front door and narrowly miss another zombie hiding behind more shelves.Īs you reach the door, Leon and Claire will have an intense first meeting before managing to escape the encroaching horrors and making for Raccoon City. ![]() Be careful, as either route can end with a zombie latching onto you. The man by the coolers has now turned, and another zombie will knock over some shelving before tumbling to the floor by the front counter - which means you need to make a detour around the back of the aisle. Unfortunately, things are getting really out of hand now. Use the Storage Room key to head back into the main room of the gas station. Plug him again or better yet run past him before he can get up and interact with the locked door. That’s right, three or so headshots may put a zombie on the ground, but it’s no guarantee they’ll stay that way - unless you take their head clean off that is. Moving back to the door on the left, the zombie will likely get back up to attack you again. Bring up your items and try inspecting the key to find it’s true purpose: the Storage Room Key. Step past the zombie and officer’s body to find a passage past a row of shelves to a desk, and on a wall littered with posters, you’ll find a key. However, with the cooler door now closed, you’ll need to find another way out. As soon as you enter the corridor, the door will shut behind you, forcing you deeper towards the storage room.ĭespite your best intentions, the police officer trying to stop the man inside the storage room will meet a grisly end, and it’s up to you to put this creature down.Ĭlaire is armed with the SLS 60, so remain calm and aim carefully to shoot three times at the zombie’s head - which should put him down. Turn to the left and you’ll find a man sitting on the floor covered in blood, who will point you to a door going behind the cooler to where the commotion is coming from.
